I take these latest developments at Envoy as a sign things are turning around here. We didn't give up anything for these improvements and I think that management is starting to realize we are an asset to be valued, not an expense to be shrunk away. Here's to hoping things continue to improve.

I realy dont know how Eagle guys can even be so blinded anymore.. Facts. Eagle is loosing E145's and CRJ's to multiple airlines. Not a single E175 on property yet!!! How can anyone want to stay there for some worthless flow thatin 18+ years has only had what 600 ever make it there thats like 40 a year... (If averaged)... Don't buy into it.
Disclaimer i was Wings West. Feel like i can give a honest opinion, and not just flame....

Retirements are coming no matter what, and AA is rumored to be hiring 500-600 per year indefinitely.
I know you guys went through a lot with the promise of flow and 16 year agreement, but the coming hiring boom a totally different hand than what you guys were dealt.

It sucks that an entire generation of pilots got stuck due to no mainline jobs being available, but that doesn't change the facts of the industry today. The legacy and mainline retirements over this next decade outnumber the entire regional pilot pool. A six year flow is a great backup insurance policy in case you don't go through the front door elsewhere. We've sent over 340 just since the 824 started going in mid December 2013. That's just 17 months. If we were the small size of Piedmont, the entire airline would have already flowed to AA in the past 17 months.
This flow is retirement driven, not growth driven. Unless they discover the fountain of youth these guys are going to retire. Envoy will be - and is - getting 50% of the class slots. Nobody else has that.
If the planes don't go as fast as originally planned, the upgrades to replace that flow would begin soon too. You can be a doom and gloomer, but the facts of the situation and basic logic say their plan will work, and that it's going to be a good time to be an Envoy Pilot.
