"It's a great time to be an Envoy pilot."

Maybe Envoy ALPA should stamp that on their letterhead and communiques.
"16 year flow" is a good soundbite, but the reality is that the number of pilots in front of you is what determines how fast you flow. The year in which those pilots were hired has no bearing on when someone flows.

As another guy showed, the numbers don't lie.

Within the "16 year flow" statement is a valid point though. Flowthrough agreements are notoriously unreliable. History has shown that the company will only follow through with this agreement if it is within their financial interests to do so.

The airline industry is one of the most volatile and cyclical industries in the world. It is highly dynamic and thusly the business plans are continuously changing. In order for this flow to work, numerous parameters must remain constant for a long period of time. Therefore this flow through, though working now, is VERY fragile. Envoyites slated to flow within the next 12 months have a good deal. Anyone outside that range should see it as a backup plan at best. Starting at this company as a new hire because of a flowthrough agreement is foolish.

As for Cujo/Mason/CovertOps... his continued employment with Eaglevoy is hanging on by a thread. Pedro and pals have him by the balls now. That's a fact. Take it into consideration when reading his opines on this or any other forum.

Actually it's not.

Your flow is only based on the number above you. That's it. Not on the current years it took the pilot leaving now. Same premise as upgrading.

Compass flowed 60% of it's list in the last 1.5 years. The number one pilot who flowed last year was on property for 7 years. The last pilot to flow this year will have been here for 5 years.

Envoy had a couple long stretches of barely hiring anyone, the "16 years to flow" will come down a lot.

Wrong. It's a simple concept really. Flowthrough, among other things, is predicated on the hiring trends at the majors. Those trends in turn fluctuate with retirements, growth, regulation, etc. What effect did the age 65 rule have? How do you think an age 67 rule would change things? Or how about international politics? Terrorist organizations are growing by leaps and bounds overseas, yet two days ago our limp d!ck "president" cited global warming as the most pressing issue with regard to national security. His delusional stupidity is putting our security and livelihoods at risk. Yes, flowthrough is tied up in all of this too. I'm sorry you're unable to see that. Envoyites who aspire to greater things would be wise to get out while the gettin's good.

Wrong. Things can change, but your current flow at Envoy to AA is only predicated on those above you. Not their years-to-flow or your perceived threat our president is causing. The republicans could win the office and a nuke could fall, ending everything you know it. You don't plan your flow on that.

Comprehending simple concepts isn't one of your strengths is it? And you fly airplanes for a living? Jesus...

Try to get this through your brain: IF AA DOESNT HIRE, NO ONE FLOWS.

The problem with this is AAG has set a clear path that envoy is headed for shutdown. No factors have changed. Management is the only one who can control this.

Until they do you would be an idiot to come here, because we are in the cookie cutter foot print of comair right now. Aag needs to quickly get us in endevours footprint.

Good luck replacing all of the Envoy pilots. The cracks are already showing at PSA
