I'd wait till they "reflect" the regionals and assign homes for the new ejets. My advice is wait till then, as all our bases are subject to change and if we don't see a new fleet, type soon I'd assume we will be closing up between 2018 and 2022.

Probably DFW. With the CRJs moving there, there are 30 vacancies that we don't know how JR will go.

Pretty Jr. on the FO side. Very, very Sr. on the CA side.

Does anyone know if we lost another 80+ pilots last month? Someone in the Miami crew stated this today and that would put us over 160 pilots lost in two months.

Mason said management would wait until we hit critical mass. I wonder if we're close

Seems like this has all the makings of a horrible summer.
You're at 160 for the year currently.

I was hoping for 80 a month, at that rate eagle will be closed in ~4 years whether AAG wants it or not.

Mason has been pretty accurate with his predictions but if AAG can send 10 of those 175s to Compass and build up PDT to take the remainder I think his vision of Envoy is dead in the water. I have no doubt we'll continue to fly 50 seat jets for as long as they're viable, but I am very skeptical that we'll get the 175s or that "only way to AA" flow he predicts.

Have you not listened to your own management talking of regional industry consolidation?

Do you think Pedro came up with that? He's just repeating what he's told.

They don't have the deal for the 10 nailed down yet; and they haven't even started talking with PDT yet. But, they will be. They're also reviewing another option; but I'll keep that quiet for now. You should have some news by the end of this month; and they should pop their plan by May 12th.
