Here was my original question:
"I'm confused. Mainline managements are offering concessionary contracts with flowthru incentives to their regional partners. But if you interview at that mainline carrier and admit supporting their contract offer it counts against you?"
I'm not concerned about flow-thru. It doesn't make sense that mainline would hold your support of their contract offer against you. Also, it seems like a huge double standard. It's ok to work at mainline, but everyone else should stand tall and take it on the chin against horrible mainline.

Yea, you're right. I feel like you've told like 6 guys in the past week that they need work on reading comprehension.
So is it that none of us can read or is it you?
Why pose a "question" about what has more value when apparently your underlying motive is "stand strong no matter what."
Or is that your motive?
The signals are mixed.

How bout nobody post anything to this thread unless they have concrete proof of something happening with Envoy. All of this doom and gloom conjecture is really killing it.

He is saying that if we do tell them to shove off, that they will exercise plan B and place the planes elsewhere. In other words, we can do whatever we want, but we may not like the result. I'm not sure where the disconnect is for you.

It's very amusing to see who's who in the "I am easily manipulated" derby. Bzzzt leads the crowded field by ten lengths.

I'd say it worked out pretty well for many of the flows who got numbers. Some flowed right away and a large portion got to sit at the top of the Eagle seniority list with all the pay and benefits and QOL that comes with that, and then subsequently flowed at 4th year pay. Not too shabby.
Meanwhile the rest of the country saw massive reduction and layoffs and nobody hiring for years....

If you read that one sentence alone, without the context of the rest of what he said.
Anywho,
I don't really care. Good luck.

Our union guys have said nothing publicly. On the back channels, Pedro has asked them to play nice and a deal will be made. The union doesn't want to talk because they have already been duped once. It is uncanny that the "talks" were held in PDT and AWAC country. Also that MESA is telling their new hires they will have a DFW base any time now.

I heard it rumored that Mesa may get another 20 airplanes next year.... Wonder which ones? My guess is another 20 175's go to Mesa and the latest talks were absolutely another whipsaw attempt! Hope I'm wrong!
