Your sense of entitlement is disgusting.
There's only like 13,000 applications on file just at AA. The world MUST be all wrong if a person with your high qualifications can't get called before everybody else. Surely nobody is better qualified than you are. Do you even know or hear how you sound whining all the time?

Eaglefly I have never had trouble in an interview and never will. People like me in life, this is just the outlet for all the frustrations I have with my dead end career.

I don't feel entitled to the job, I'm not surprised I didn't get a call. My point is this industry is not the place to go if you're an average guy like myself. By the time the exceptional candidates are taken it's not even worth going to a major any longer as you'll always have relatively poor seniority. The main reason I stopped updating my apps is because the window to attain the seniority I wanted has already past.

You're horribly misinformed if you think that getting hired at any one of the majors in the next 5 years will equate to a bad career.
That mantra helps those of us here on planet earth, so keep it up. One less applicant of competition.
You're attitude is a dangerous one - deciding you no longer care about your career can lend itself to complacency. Have you looked into seeing a psychologist? You might be depressed.

Wow. The only thing pilot forums like better than hating on management or their union is hating on each other. Mr. Comm chairman is should be capable of reading my response, the response which is an accurate representation of Mason32's skill at prediction (in my opinion, this is the internet of course). If he can't understand it we need a new chairman. But feel free to jump in and defend his literacy skills.
You were in the flight levels before I was out of diapers, right?
Kid... Ah, I love Internet forums. So passive-aggressive and condescending. Warm, fuzzy love all over!

What's ironic is that should get that mainline interview (which considering the supply/demand future he eventually will), he'd likely blow it anyway as a major focus of interviews is attitude about your present job. In his case, he could only play it two ways - be honest about how he hates his job and company and come across as someone they would pass on or lie in the hope he could hide the truth about his attitude. The first tack is a guaranteed failure, so I suppose his only chance is to hone his skills at misrepresentation.
What a sad situation to be in.

The same reasons anyone else is (still) here. Gather some intel and rumors. Have a good discussion, enjoy some arguments, contribute when I can, and not take myself too seriously. Frankly, if anyone's here with other expectations they have a skewed sense of what happens on public forums.
Regarding Mason32, I've been a former member here and lost the original login years ago due to moving and losing that isp's email access. Can't retrieve a password recovery, so I elected to browse without commenting. However, Mason32's comments are copy-pasted all over other forums and I think they're nothing more than (barely better than) informed guesswork. Too many people are getting their hopes up based on his comments. I re-registered to add some dissent to the growing pile of rumor.
Nope, not crawling back under the rock.

If you think Mason's posts are "guess work" then you have not been around as long as you think.
There is a reason why so many people trust him.
He has released accurate details of news before even our Union knew about it. Accurate to the last detail. If that is "guess work" then he is one lucky son of a bitc...and needs to play the lotto.

I recently flew a 4-day with a junior CA at eagle who got picked up by AA (non flow). His attitude was awesome. He gave me tips on how to do things the right way and prepare for an interview. He made me realize that the way I conduct myself now, probably years away from an interview, will help determine if I get the job. Besides all that we had fun. AA knows how to pick them, so get yourself ready now and when the time comes you'll be hard to turn down.
