Anyone have updates from the talks today? I'm guessing the union will put out a blast in a month or so.

AAG 2nd Quarter Financial Results

Any wonder why AAG didn't want to put a new (concessionary) offer in front of the envoy pilot group in July/August?

Barring a severe economic downturn, it's going to continue to be hard for AAG to extract concessions from envoy, going forward. That's a good problem to have,.....for BOTH sides.

News flash: hard lines suck without rigs as well. Just look at our trips since 117 implementation. To say that only PBS sucks without rigs in comparison to hard lines is ignoring our current reality. Just my 2¢.

Last I checked we are waging a war of attrition with the company.

Lower staffing requirements negate our strategy, I don't know why anyone is even considering voting this in.

Line bidding is also not just more pilots required, the more upgrades result in more pilots acquiring TPIC, and even more actually leaving for other majors.

Also if they try to take another 5% from us in retaliation that will further exasperate their difficulties attracting new hires. Let me plays devils advocate for a moment. Consider that the company has reduced upgrades because we don't have enough FOs and can't get enough new ones through the door. PBS reduces head count, as you stated, which in turn creates breathing room for the company's abhorrent staffing situation. It is possible that PBS will increase upgrades for some length of time.

My info was dispelled by cujo aka R.I himself, who has proven to be nothing but honest.
My conclusion was based on my info and my source. I wasn't given a name, just came to my conclusion based on what i had, and thought that i was 99% correct. I do know he (mason32) isn't management. He is involved in a union position.
