Good Luck.
I can totally agree with this. Its time to get the airplanes and stop the happy jumping at other regionals. This could be turned in a minute if they want, but gotta to agree in a deal.

So, I rather shrink getting airplanes than shrink without them.

Seems like it... This is a total sell out. ALPA is toxic for all regionals anyway.

Why would a pilot wish to slow their career down waiting for a flow? Flow is a management tool, not a pilot benefit in any way. If this was 10 years ago I could see it, those people would be flowing now.

Good Luck.

And how long did those 200+ pilots wait for that flow to get them to the majors?

I know since you are flying the G1 this probably all seems a little foreign to you. On the surface, flow through seems like a great thing but in reality its just a tool that management uses to obtain your obedience for 10 years, kind of like a carrot. The truth is you are better off going to a regional that is growing. Upgrade time should be the only thing on your mind, not 10 year flow throughs. You upgrade, then you are out of there in a year or two.

Maybe one day you will want to work for the airlines, this is a good place to learn some of the ropes. Good luck!

You're implying that 1-2k hours of 121 PIC is the golden ticket to get hired at a major. That is far from accurate. Ask all the guys who have been captains for a few years who still can't get out of their current regional.

He just want more people below him at PSA, that's why he's telling All about quick upgrade and that the Flow IS not good. They are also anxious about PSA getting more "flow".

Two face PSA people ... so sad that all the upgrades there have been hired.

Why, I won't be at Eagle, I'm in the flow. I'll be sure to watch a 300 pilot group help out the 2K pilot group over at AA though. Enjoy your staple.

+1, that fairy tale of getting 1000 TPIC will get you automatically to the major is non-sense only new hires believe. Anyone with a couple of years at the regionals will tell you the real story: military, minorities, friends and family, not just recommendations BUT recommendations from people that matter, these are the people getting their foot at the majors, with exceptions here and there.

His statement of "silliness" is correct in one way and that's your assumption of his false front being real. He's a DFW based EMB captain for Envoy. He's got a lot at stake and with this deal he may decide not to flow to AA. He doesn't know anything about G1's or GV's and spends a lot of time on Envoy issues because he has skin in the game.
