Default Quit carrying their water...

When Cujo first started during the bankruptcy contract, exposing the "snack packers," hard nosing the company, calling every CA in New York to get their opinion on the TA, I was proud to be represented by both him and SP. I was a big believer in "Not carrying the company's water." If the company wants to make it better then let them be responsible for attracting new hires. Instead the company comes out and says "Well, the reason we can't attract new hires is because of too much bad publicity from the pilot group." Now they want us to accept being f!?#ed over and now tell everyone HOW MUCH WE LIKE IT?!?!?! Lately though, touting RW's upgrade and flow through numbers violates the whole "Carry the company's water mantra." AAG has turned the MEC into full on water or "kool-aid" carrying Sherpa.

If you have a family to support, somebody relying on you for this job and try to be an LEC rep, they will crush you. I've watched too many union reps from across the battlefield fall under the oppressive weight of AAG (once AMR). At the same time without having those that depend upon you, how would you know what to fight and stand for? Aside from being attacked by the company, they always end up being attacked and dismembered by the ones they are trying to help.

With our meager and paltry ALPA association, trying to fight AAG is like trying to kill a rampaging Grizzly bear with a nerf gun...

So my point is "Quit carrying their f!?#%ng water and let their words and actions stand on their own merit!" If they want the pilot group to quit telling everyone how terrible a place it is to work...THEN QUIT MAKING IT A TERRIBLE PLACE TO WORK!

That's all they know how to do brother. That's all its ever been and that's all it'll ever be. Vote with your feet. They can't replace you. I got out just after 9/11 and I'm wealthy now. Leaving that sh!t sandwich was the best thing I ever did. Only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. The only way they can harm you and your family is if you work there.

Well that, and I have a cool dream every now and then--something about landing that SAAB in a pasture near my house.

Yet here you are. On a regional forum talking smack about your former airline, trying to sink it with your dislike and everyone who works here.

One would think you could put your wealth to better use than wasting time on the internet bashing a place you no longer work.

Wealth doesn't buy class, that's for sure.

They need to fix the quality of life here otherwise they have themselves 2,200 pilots helping recruiters of other airlines.
The QOL is the lowest I've seen in a decade. They had the opportunity to turn it around, and we even tried to help them turn the ship; and instead they did nothing. Pure lip service with no substance.
Pilots are the new currency; whomever gets them will get the flying. With our managements actions, or lack of it, it won't be us.

Incidentally, I also called the based Captains prior to the December TA too. I only got 3/4 through the list then and just ran out of time. I try to do the right thing, even when it may not be the most popular.

He's awfully opinionated for somebody who left 14 years ago right after 9-11...

Amazing how most of the ones talking smack don't even work here isn't it? Or should I say, claim they don't work here.

Not really. Most like me hear from present Envoy pilots all the time or one could pay $5 and sign up on EL and hear it straight from Envoy pilots themselves. I understand they'll even hear you changing your colors like the chameleon you are there as well.

Default Envoy to get 100% flow to AA.

Ah, the tired flip-flopper argument. Thank you, you moronic swift-boaters, for providing us with that straw man. Because if one is driving toward a cliff without knowledge of said cliff, and the the cliff is pointed out...

Imma just keep driving off that cliff, I'm no flip-flopper.

Hearing that the August class will be 18 flows from Envoy
No street hires
No PDT flows
No PSA hires

100% of all new hires in the class are from Envoy

Like a month ago when there were ZERO from ENY but still flows from PDT.

we at PDT were told the other day we'll be doing 5/Sept, 5/oct, 5/Nov.

For some reason they are still keeping the Wholly Owneds to their original parent ie Pdt and psa to LUS classes and ENY to LAA classes.
