Try and imagine the last few years from an Eagle pilot perspective. We were the only regional for American and were run much more like a mainline airline as far as money spent on the operation to keep things running smoothly. We helped build the Eagle brand into a reliable name with the help of money from the parent company. We took pride in it.
Since the bankruptcy, that name has been taken and farmed out to the lowest bidders, including Envoy which is becoming a shell of its former self. I don't think we're much better than any other regional at this point, other than the fact that being wholly owned may pay off in the future.
However, for right now, AAG will just keep managing to keep the stock price up for one quarter at a time. That's what's rewarded in the marketplace these days. It's sad, really.

This whole country is just cheap outsourced labor. If we let these scumbags keep taking and taking, there will be nothing left of this place.

2 fridays ago Mesa had 5 maintenance cancellations on kickoff flights in the DFW market. Looks to me that AAG is getting what they are paying for.

Ok, first Doug has a huge front wedgie. Second Kenji was sweating, stuttering, and crapping the entire answer on mesa, for those who can't see it, they make it clear Mesa is doing bad. The whole video is people telling Doug he has made AA a horrible passenger exp.

Envoy has been doing flying in MIA for Republic for flying they cannot staff after our base was shut down. Our NYC base is in closing as well. Our upgrade stands at 7 years...soon to be 8. 12 year guys are on reserve. All DFW trips are 4 days(25 year CA doing a 4 day trip?) with most lines being less than guarantee. We've had 2 concessionary contracts, they've given our planes away and stripped us of our name. After all that we are eeking out a better performance of airlines who are hiring CQFO's, offering jobs over the phone, have quick CA upgrades and are growing. Mesa's performance in DFW is abysmal and is becoming legendary. You made a point about overall airline performance and I made a counter point about a specific base and Mesa's failures there. Go back and read my post and stop being antagonistic.

Hate to break it to you guys, but Mesa isn't going anywhere. Its been operating like that for decades and your master Parker aint ditching them.
Do you really feel sorry for those 25yr CA's having crappy schedules? Just wait till those juicy 5 day trips show up. They had the chance to flow to AA but instead, they decided to ride that gravy train that was L-Eagle. I bet half of them are regretting their decision.
Good Luck!

So yes maybe our performance is terriable in DFW and that is entirely our fault? We are the best performing regional on the United side and as far as AA in PHX we have had no problems what so ever. AMR knows this hence why we are not going anywhere. The majority of our problems in DFW are those god awful rampers and gate agents.
