Are you regretting your decision to leave even more now? I bet you are. The only place that would hire you was the Mesa of LCC's which is a dead end career to nowhere.

I know you said your apps were out but there is no way any major or legacy carrier will pick you up. For that matter, Spirit or Jetblue wouldn't even take you. You gave up the only path to a major you would ever have and now you are out there throwing rocks at Envoy because you are desperately trying to get on with a major and you've totally blown it. You know Envoy wouldn't even hire you. You probably just slipped through the cracks last time and got very lucky.

Stop coming into this thread and spreading your propaganda and lies! Life goes on and it's good for those of us who have a guaranteed career track with the largest airline in the world.

To my knowledge, this has been effective for at least a month, and in the works for at least 3 or 4 more. One of the five in my interview class is in this boat. Still a long road for them as they have to go back and get all their ratings in fixed wing, but it does seem a bit desperate.

Can you break that down to those of us not familiar with the language? I expected to see either aircraft assignments, base assignments, or both. These abbreviations are completely unfamiliar to me. Sorry.

Been effective since at least June. Most of us just need to hit the 250 FW PIC and 25 ME for the R-ATP. Guess it's no longer semi-covered up since they just sent an email out about it.

Desperation or not, they're tapping into a pilot group that otherwise may not have considered the airlines. I know that I probably wouldn't have taken 15-20K of my own money to just build time to go to a regional, and obviously not a major with mostly helo time.

...it reads as: Base/Seat/Equipment

5 DFW FO 175. 5 DFL

4 ORD FO CRJ. 4 OFC

7 ORD FO 145. 7 OFE

3 LGA 145. 3 NFE

Don't get me wrong. I'm all for getting veterans a job they want. If it came across the other way, I apologize. However since they posted an article in the Flight department on the website recently I assumed that was recent.
