Stop complaining. They're not bad.

See it's getting fixed.

Which one is it?

I stand by my original statement. There are a handful of lines that have less than desirable pairings. In those few instances, not every line is bad all month long. Lines are, by and large, way overblown by a vocal minority as ALL bad. Simply not the case.

Ever hear of the story of the boy that cried wolf? Or the phrase a broken clock is right twice a day. Or a blind squirrel can find a nut.

The fast majority of the pilots group are tired of hearing what is going to happen in three, four or five months from now. January and February may come and schedules will be fixed but until they are fixed there is still a problem with QOL.

We have heard so many things that were about to get fixed and then nothing. So until schedules are averaging 15-16 days off per month with 80-85 hr lines I'm still going to complain about schedules.

"I stand by my original statement. There are a handful of lines that have less than desirable pairings. ". Cr700 isn't lying here. It's his opinion and nothing more. Cr700 now that you've commented on desirability of sequences can you discuss your standards? Please let us know if you prefer an early start to your trip and or a late finish. Can you comment on cadence and days off?

How'd did that person get so lucky or was it to the low amount of FO's in December?

Ok, I lied, it was me, but still the question still needs to be answered lol

I told your multiple times alot of guys bid rsv to get Xmas off, but we also are short on ord fos. Jan the lines will drastically decrease with lga opening andyour newbie *** will be back on rsv.

Haha. I actually laughed at "handful".

December 15th will be a bad day for you. We're all watching. Closely.

Well I think there are only about 5 FOS on reserve who got Xmas off. The real reason is there are not enough FOs in chicago. Senior reserves usually bid because they have enough below them to avoid the worst parts of reserve life and have a better QOL than what their senority would hold lin wise. This isn't the case in december and they won't have many below them. I think that pilot will hold a line if wanted for awhile. New York is opening yes and while lines may decrease so will the amount of pilots above as they start their upgrade for nyc or transfer over. There's a lot to be said for being on the front end of a hiring wave.

RON hotels

Haven't really seen any comments on the hotels Envoy uses. Does that mean people are generally satisfied with them? What brand of hotels are they?

3-4 star hotels near the airport normally with little around. Hotels them selves for the most part are acceptable. However the lack of quality locations is frustrating.

Mostly Sheratons, Holiday inn, la Quinta and privately owned hotels.

Anyone else heading to DFW on Sunday for the ATP-CTP course? Also, what simulator does CAE typically use in the course?

The vast majority of hotels will be a mix of Holiday Inns, Crown Plazas, Radisson, Doubletrees, Hiltons, Sheratons, 4 Points, different levels of Marriot properties etc. These will be mixed in with a couple of nasty LaQuintas and Ramadas that make you wonder how the heck they sourced this place. In the end, of the 100+ different overnights in our system there are only a couple of places I actively bid away from.
