As for the bonus, I think it's great. AAG is following the market closely and is staying at or above it in all cases. I think they have made some great decisions.
Contractual? Also contractual: single turnbacks on reserve, honoring proffers, upgrading in seniority order, assigning trips in seniority order, paper bid packets, multiple junior mans counting as multiple events, assigning RAPs after getting pur preferences, non-punitive fatigue calls, correct pay checks, not giving missed assignments for not answering the phone when not on call, and that's just off the top of my head.

And by the way, the contractual flow is only about 285 next year.

Let me say this about the current Envoy. We have evolved from the mostly sole feeder to AA to competing with other regionals for flying. Since this transition over the past 4 years, comparing Envoy to all the regionals flying for AA, Envoy is hands down the best. We provide the best product, ontime flights, professional staff in comparison to the other companies.

In a lot of ways we have maintained this special relationship with AAG as we have progressed into the era of competing regionals at American. How, you ask?

We have the best flow in the industry. No other regional comes close.

We are transitioning gradually to an all E175 fleet. This is the top of the line "regional" jet. Everyone knows though that this isn't a real regional jet. The other two WO's fly the regional jets. We fly routes that AA does. In a way, you could see we are a hybrid mainline American. Before you start saying how stupid this is, read the next point.

Which brings me to, we have one interview. It's an AA interview. You interview, hire into Envoy and less than 6 years later you are at American. You don't have to do another interview or a medical. You simply transfer over as you would if you had bid the E175 coming from the E145.

Not a single other "regional" carrier in the U.S. has this. AAG wants it this way. They want a cradle to grave employment opportunity. That way, Envoy gets the best and the brightest out there. Envoy isn't Mesa. We don't "interview" over the phone and the interview isn't easy. It shouldn't be. It's an American Airlines interview.

So, tell me again why you can't be positive about Envoy?
I agree, I'm a old Metro Guy (Metro Airlines-the first every American Eagle), seen all the ups and downs of this crazy airline..

I heard aag/envoy wants to limit the number of grievances filed in 2017. Why is that I wonder? Perhaps they plan on not violating the contract anymore.

Why are people accepting these multi JM extensions without making them count as two events? We only get kicked around if we continue to let them do it. Say change it or I am not doing the JM.

[QUOTE=Dacuj;2268127]The "regionals" aren't better than Spirit. Envoy is better than Spirit. I'm here to answer any questions and to promote Envoy and help Spirit guys transition there if they desire a real airline and a real career path.[QUOTE]

Is this guy a troll or just not too bright? He's spreading the LSD laced kool-aid over on the Spirit thread too. I mean GMAFB with this stuff.

Yep, I just checked. Everyone hired in 2006 should flow be the end of 2017, according to your 360-400 claim. Now we know you are just making numbers up.

Here's what we know:

RW projected 2016 Envoy flow to AA: 300
Actual 2016 Envoy flow to AA: 254

So he projected 18% more than the actual amount that flowed.

Projected 2017 Envoy flow to AA: "close to 330 plus" (whatever that is supposed to mean)
Minimum amount based on contract: about 285

So if they follow the minimum flow in the contract, his projection will be about 16% higher than actual for 2017.

You are right about 2018 (if everything goes smoothly), but that supports my numbers, not yours.

This is the funniest **** I've read all year.

No, it wasn't premature. First, it was punishment for defying management. Then, it was necessary because their threats had caused so many pilots to leave that their attrition forecasts led them to believe we wouldn't be able to staff it. We were replaced by anyone that had excess capacity...Compass in LAX, Republic in ORD, I believe several carriers in NYC. Now, we're being replaced in ORD by Skywest, and the scuttlebutt is that our flying in MIA will also finally be shut down with Republic completing the transfer of the 175's there that were previously in ORD. Even with 70 OCE's flowing in the next few months, there was a decided lack of vacancies for that status. Hell, we're probably only getting NYC back because we're being forced out of ORD.

Let me say this about the current Envoy. We have evolved from the mostly sole feeder to AA to competing with other regionals for flying. Since this transition over the past 4 years, comparing Envoy to all the regionals flying for AA, Envoy is hands down the best. Our performance numbers were so good when Doug Parker took over, he threatened to turn us into the next Comair! We had excellent performance on just about every metric when the hostile takeover occurred, and DP demonstrated that meant absolutely nothing to him compared to cheapness. Our costs were within a few dollars a block hour to everyone else, and most of that was related to the lost decade and the average pay level of our captains. And now you want us to believe that the cabal suddenly CARES about our product? That's laughable.

In a lot of ways we have maintained this special relationship with AAG as we have progressed into the era of competing regionals at American. How, you ask?
Bwhahaha...."but wait, there's more!"

We have the best flow in the industry. No other regional comes close.
...as a result of multiple grievances over Letter 3 and ten years of arbitration trying to get the company to comply with L3.

...as a result of a grievance settlement involving the company moving our aircraft off of our operating certificate in violation of our CBA.

...after which we have virtually the same flow as PSA and PDT.

This, this is very stupid.

Because somehow, flying DFW-ORD is waaaay more sexy than flying DFW-SAV, or DFW-GRR, and makes you more qualified to be a mainline pilot.

Which brings me to, we have one interview. It's an AA interview. You interview, hire into Envoy and less than 6 years later you are at American. You don't have to do another interview or a medical. You simply transfer over as you would if you had bid the E175 coming from the E145.
Except you lose all seniority, vacation, have to go through a totally different indoc, AND you're on probation again. Yep, totally just like a vacancy bid!

Not a single other "regional" carrier in the U.S. has this.
Except for PSA and PDT.

AAG wants it this way. They want a cradle to grave employment opportunity. That way, Envoy gets the best and the brightest out there.
No, they want the cheapest labor possible for their regional feed, pure and simple. If it was as you say, American Airlines would have stopped ALL street hiring, and would be hiring all their squadron buddies and shuttle pilots at ENY, PSA, and PDT. But that's not happening, is it?

Envoy isn't Mesa.
But when our fuel bill is a great deal more than Mesa, management throws a fit...until they realize the reason is because we aren't tankering gas from cheaper stations like Mesa...and it's management's own fault, not the pilots.

So, tell me again why you can't be positive about Envoy?
Because they would rather hire CLR stooges to be salesmen than fix real problems for one.

Well said. My opinion based on aag actions envoy is comair 2, slowly being reduced to an all e175 fleet, all 40 of them.
Next month skw is doing as many flights in ord as envoy, in other words envoy has shrunk 50 percent in ord.

DFW another 25 percent. LGA is gearing up by envoy to hand it over to Piedmont with the 80 emb145 s envoy will be handing over to them.
MIA will be all RAH by June 2016. LAX compass contract is until 2020.

Yes you new hire looking for stability and a good pay check and quality of life, DO NOT COME HERE.
Quality here sucks, schedules suck, benefits suck.

But if you want to listen to the management and training trolls here, that is totally up to you.

So let me get this straight, you fly mainline routes at regional pay?

Congrats, you are flying your future job for a fraction of the price.

Skywest is doing 60 flights, that's nowhere near 50% of envoys ORD schedule. What a load of baseless conjecture you are spewing.
