It does plenty of good if you have good system logic knowledge and more importantly comprehend the moment instead of asking why you’re not receiving feedback from the nose wheel steering. I had multiple hard transfers occur while I was driving the 175 to the gate. First I always delayed having the FO shutdown number 2 until nearing the gate (slowing down) with APU up 2 mins ago, still had some unwanted results. The emergency brake works well, and can be used “supposedly” for six applications.

Neither one of us was there so it’s easy to say “I would’ve/wouldn’t have...”
Also this is still pure speculation on what occurred until the facts are published.

Yeah I agree, but we both know if that’s what occurred both crew members will be at fault.

I don't believe so. I think it is the relationship between the APU starting and shutting down #2 too soon.

The problem is the logic in power transfer, it does not work right if BATT2 is isolated as it is when starting APU, it drops down to AC ESS for a second.

Meanwhile the 145 is a superior aircraft since it works just fine on the ground without any of this loss of steering nonsense

Right, it just slides off on a beautiful sunny day in the Bahamas. 😉
