Depends on the day of the week and time of travel. You would use the employee travel portal to list for flights. They are color coded based on how open the flights are. You, as an employee travel under rev stbys and above buddy passes. If there are Airbus jumpseat is not bad. 2 avail on AA planes to pilots.

Example of LAX to DFW today (friday) looking at flights the next 2 have 50 open seats and around 6 or so people listed for stby and the 2 flights after that are basically oversold with people listed.

Checking in 24 hours out for the flights does help your chances but you start to become familar on how to predict loads and how to get around the easiest based on day of the week and time of travel.

4-5 days. Whatever it takes to give you 11 off(12 off with 31 day months). Sometimes transition can get crazy. Worst case scenario you can get 6 on, followed by one off (or 30 hrs) followed by 5 on

If I recall 5 days with your first day on call at 0400AM. So you would have to travel the night before.

Good Luck!

Thanks Skywago.

This has been asked a few times in the last couple months but it never really got answered; what is the estimated time for a new hire to be based in DFW?

It could be right out of training if you get the 175, if you get the CRJ700 its not based in DFW, or a few/many months if you get the 145.

How many busts?

Remember at envoy it is punitive to fly if you are tired. duty regs say how long you are good to fly, yet this company says you should be able to extend and fly. And if you can't then you are a bad employee. Pedro and his regime are no better than past.

What the F? Did you just get the HI6 and the union email and decide to post a rant about it on an unrelated thread?
