I've heard wrong things come from the CPO before. I'd like a contractual reference. I'm sure you were told exactly what you say, but I haven't been able to locate it yet.

Section 29 "General" is the only place I can find reference and it says nothing about the 75 from what I can tell.

There is the letter 13-08 for NY Domicile that addresses parking as well but I dont see anywhere in there that says when we get 175's that the agreement ends.

That's all I could find.

Unless there's something in the works that the company isn't telling us, or they're doing some creative re-interpretation of the contract to suit their needs.

Either one is plausible.

In some cities we'll stay in exceedingly nice hotels whereas some layovers are in motels that barely qualify as a a Super 8. Yes we stay at Super 8 motels in some places. The new contract calls for a " Hotel Quality Handbook" to be implemented as a guide for hotel selection, but unfortunately it's one of those things that HQ will be "working on" indefinitely and will never be actually implemented.

The main thing to remember about working here. A CBA is not a legally binding document here. It is merely a book of suggestions and guidelines that can and will be reinterpreted at the company's sole discretion. They're more or less playing nice now. But since the staffing issue has been solved by the parking of so many airplanes and the increae in hiring, the gloves will be coming off again soon enough. A leopard doesn't change its spots.
This quote from the RAH thread demonstrates my point about keeping one's perspective about envoy as a regional airline. I sometimes hear some of my fellow pilots complain about envoy but talk about other regionals like they have no problems and are utopic. I have never seen a 5 day trip on our bid packets. Or had a line with a CDO built up next to a 3 or 4 day sequence at envoy. It's easy to fantasize about the "other guy's girl" when you forget that she to gets moody, wakes up with bad breath, complains about his friends, and can sometimes be a real b***h.

I agree that envoy is not all bad. True, we do not build 5 day trip lines. It will be interesting how things go down if we get the 41st 175 and start talkin PBS

Interesting that you chose to quote the most bitter RAH pilot currently on these forums to prove your point. I can guarantee that nowhere near the majority of RAH pilots feel the way he does or share his views under this new contract.

I don't know who you are or if you are even a real person. But I have no less than 12 friends in real life who either work for Republic currently or have recently quit. NOT ONE of them has ANYTHING positive to say. Not so much as a simple compliment.

Buddy, I highly doubt you have twelve friends period, let alone 12 that work at republic.
