I think your situational awareness skills need to be examined. He can PROJECT all he wants. If he doesn't upgrade 700 plus pilots from FO to Capt by mid to late 2017, there ain't gonna be a 2.5 year upgrade for a new hire TODAY. If you are an Envoy guy, pull the seniority list yourself and see. It's BLACK and WHITE. There's no way possible for it to happen unless you see 700 plus upgrades over the next eighteen months.

 

Not to take away from your epic rant, but you decided to be on reserve in December, there were more than a handful junior to a May of 2013 hire, that held a line in all bases and equipment.

 

Whoah, careful. Bringing actual facts to this thread will get you labeled as a "goon" by people who don't work at Envoy...I wasn't going to even bring up what you just did...I was actually enjoying watching this train wreck and was waiting to see what the end goal of this person was.

Bottom line is that if things were as bad as he claims he could have left long ago. By his own admission leaving Envoy for another Regional would be worse. So what exactly is the point of this thread? Just the epic rant of a very angry little person with a frustrated life.

I think it's a good thing that this guy transformed into a poster from a lurker. It's important to have a balance between the kool aid drinkers and the nay-sayers that actually work at Envoy. Now back to lurking for me

 

One. December is a month where you just don't know what you will get due to people trying to get Christmas off.

Two. I bid reserve lines with Christmas off first to be home with my kid.

 

"Unless you see 700 upgrades" - You said it yourself.

They may or may not put out the vacancies.

However, 700 upgrades over 18 months equals just over 38/month. The training center is quite capable of those numbers as they had well in excess of that every month in 2011.

It's far from "black and white" as you put it.
