It seems you're more concerned with attacking anything I say regards of what it actually is.
I'm sorry my responses to YOUR questioning of ME are not what you want. I'm talking more about the situation and not so much about you, yet you seem more personally attuned to thinking it is mostly about you, at last that's the perception I get from posts like this. Perhaps, our poor communication isn't very fruitful and thus, it would be be better for you to probe others on why they say what they say ?

I think we can continue to have productive discourse. It's not about what anyone WANTS to hear. It's about discussion. Yes, I asked you a question as to whether you believed it because that's how your post came off and I wanted to know if that was the intention. If you go back a read them, I think you'll see that.

I'm not personally attacking you, simply attempting to explain my opinions. We may differ in opinions and that's OK. I think it's important to think outside the box though as uncomfortable as that may be as that's an important way to expand ones ability to evaluate that which may happen. We do it as pilots (or should) and why not do it about career impacting issues ?

None of us have a true crystal ball and I'm not silly enough to think I do. I just look at the past and present to try and make the best consideration of the future. Some there seem to avoid that which is uncomfortable in order not to confront it. I guess it's true that for some (not all), ignorance is bliss and in a way they are right.

I agree. We might find ourselves in less of these situations if everyone were a bit more careful of how they phrased their best guesses and projections. Like you said, we're pilots and it's ingrained in us to think about possible scenarios and contingencies. But in the end, that's all they are until we're presented with our next "should we go left or right" decision.

True, but like weather radar, I think the best success is all in the interpretation. Some simply see colors and avoid certain ones, others look not just at the colors, but their relationship to each other and the environment, while others still, prefer not to look at it at all and just nervously do what others do. A few just call in sick. Who gets the best ride or has the most success in planning to avoid or at least minimize trouble ? If we could only interpret the future enough to know when it's best to call in sick.

Well, after going through all three Envoy threads on the front page and not seeing any relevant posts, did anything come of this?

Only this:

RE: More flying, more money

We just received more flying from AAG for the end of April. I wanted to make sure everyone knew this was posted today into Open Time. For Captain’s several days have been declared as critical coverage 200%:

DFW 145 – 8 trips
DFW 175 – 3 trips

ORD 145 – 8 trips
ORD 700 – 4 trips

Fly safe,

Ric

Here's some real info. They took 2 additional flows for the April 19 class so it makes it an even 30 for the month
Flow is now at M.R. Who is an assistant in Ord CP office
Bunch of flying was shifted around for end April. Embraer covering some SLC, MSY, IAH and other usually CRJ trip. CRJ picking up more republic flying.

I'm still waiting for the summer slow of the flow but guys in the AA pool are being told no more classes for OTS until 4th quarter. I believe they are in a hurry to flush the 824 so they can start doing some regional consolidating. So maybe good news for the 824 but bad for 825 and junior. It'll be interesting to see what return numbers are for recalls in a month !!!!!

It would be good news for imminent 824's to have some slots with Letter T's, but I would wonder how long that might last, if that occurs. In all likelihood, the LT rate won't be linear and will have ebbs and flows and even if they do trickle some flows in initially, it MAY be they would periodically stop IF periodic surges raise the percentage rate. I think it might be a month to month thing, but any flows concurrent with LT's would be better then none. Of course, any Envoy flows would also mean other WO flows as well.
