Actually, the best time to be an envoy pilot is the day you turn in your company ID, knowing you will get a new one that says American Airlines the next day, and then drinking an ice cold beer with a huge smile on your face because you haven't kept a logbook current in over 10 years and you never spent a penny at a job fair!

It's just the 16 years getting there that sucks.

It's actually going to get pushed back from 09/20... Over 5,000 employees have had to return uniform items and haven't received them back yet. Hundreds have yet to even receive their uniform at all. It simply isn't going to happen.

According to jetnet if you haven't received your new uniform or alterations you can wear the old uniform but you cannot mix match the uniforms or wings ..start date is still Sept 20

I am not wanting to be a troll with these questions, I just want to be educated about Envoy's culture. Perhaps the best people to answer these questions are the ones that have left Mesa for Envoy. What is your training department like? Some of my Envoy buddies get very nervous when they go in for re-current, where as Mesa seems more like a three day PHX vacation, get to see old friends, etc. Mesa's check airmen are all extremely fair, doing their job, but not actively looking to fail people unless they really have no choice. Is Envoy the same way? Or do you guys have some that seem like they are trying to fill a quota? How is your management and chief pilots? At Mesa, our chief pilots are great and do everything they can to help out the pilots. The old addage of "It's best that the Chief doesn't know who I am is a good thing" does not apply. Our management is hands off on the pilot group. What's yours like?

different people, different stories. was great at one time. then they went to a very long period of enjoying busting people. we are now in the termination phase for intimidation purposes.

if I am wrong, I know there will be someone here to correct me. But that is what I know.

The days of antagonistic training are long gone. Those dudes flowed or retired.

5 years, but I commend your efforts on spreading misinformation.

Of course the longer you stay at RAH, the longer your hypothetical time to flow from the current date. Good luck!
