Mine was the 20k bonus still and I believe it was around 13,700. 25% of the tax is automatically withheld, the rest of it was social security/Medicare tax. A buddy of mine who lived in a state that had state taxes got around 12,500. On my tax refund I was able to receive a good size (90%) of what was withheld.

I had my family in by the end of the first week. They haven't tried using them. But supposedly they could have.

So the info says that pay 16 hrs of per diem per day. It's that just days your in class? Weekends? 2 week home study? Thanks

Yes. The only difference being that the bonus is withheld at 25% regardless of your income bracket. All other deductions are taken out at their normal rates.

So you will balance out at the end of the year when you calculate your taxes.
