Default Latest upgrade times

Hi Guys,
The last I read on the upgrade times was 3 months out of LGA. Is it still around that or has that changed now with the CRJ's downsizing & the crj Pilots coming to the Emj? Thank you.

Regards
Jet

If you have 1000 121 SIC or meet the regulatory requirements you can upgrade. Historically vacancy bids have been put out once a quarter. Now with it being based solely on hour requirements because of a lack of qualified individuals on property it could be a one month upgrade If you start in September and vacancy bid is in October.

It's important to point out that being awarded an upgrade and starting training are two very different things and could be separated by as much as 9 months. You aren't a captain until your fed ride.

ORD 175 should be pretty junior on FO side. Seems like most guys live in DFW so the only FOs to bid for it will be commuters who would have an easier commute.

In the past there was a significant gap from award to finishing IOE/Fed ride. Now there isn't much of a gap. The last group of upgrades is Oct 1 for all equipment except for the 175 which is Oct 15. The last upgrade was July 20ish and all the pilots awarded the upgrade should start training in 1-3 months.

I would love to find the post that says, "the 175 will never leave DFW". I remember that clearly stated many times by the sales cohorts. May they RIP.

I'm just too lazy.

It's not even an option yet. Just a strong rumor.
