QuickTrade and it's a must have if you're a commuter. DECS trading takes a lot more effort.
I'm bidding roughly 60% in ORD on the 145. Ended up with a 14 day off 75 hour line. 4 on 3 off all month. There's way too much 4 on, 2 off in the bid packets, but it's not like it's every line, all month long like some guys make it sound.
If they declare critical coverage again this month, I'll try and pick up an extra days worth of work for 12-15 hours of pay. 13 off with 88 hours, could be worse. Again, it could be much better as well. 2 days off between sequences can wear your body out and bring your immune system down.

Beagleboy wrote this on another forum and I thought it was insightful enough for a repost. I'd like to hear a real response from a recruiter/cr700 on specifically what is wrong with this.
All these great upgrade bids, but pilots are complaining of long wait times to actually train and be line qualified. If Envoy cannot now smoothly move 40-45 F/O's through to actual line qualified captain status each and every month, which is what it will take to offset 35 flows plus outside monthly attrition, the engine bogs down and appears to be already, hence the parking and slow, methodical transfer of jets. Add to that moving 70 new-hires through monthly as well ?
No chance.
This is all a tap dance/magic act and it appears like the cracks are becoming more numerous and wider in the table legs to boot. CR700/dacuj is obviously intensified his forum tap dance because privately he must be getting more frantic about the inevitable pending collapse of the present house of cards based magic act. He doesn't think it shows, but to some of us, it's more then obvious. Bottom line is A. The necessary new-hires Envoy needs will NOT be there in the future (likely near future) and B. even if they were, Envoy can't run that many through anyway to keep up with attrition, at least not with any type of reasonably functioning flow-thru operating concurrently. Something will have to give.
There's a huge pile of wobbly cards on the table now and his hope is distracting his audience from noticing that. Only problem is that his stage left song and dance abilities aren't cutting it and people aren't watching him instead of the wobbly card house on the Envoy table.

For some perspective, there used to be zero lines like that, every single month.

You've also been given very good advice guiding you. If you had free reign you'd have moved to Chicago last fall, and you'd now be trapped on reserve in a rapidly downsizing position. Instead you have been riding the right wave. Enjoy it, the table doesn't stay hot forever, eventually the music will stop.
