There are CPTs in the hotel? Are we talking paper tigers on foam board in the shape of the cockpit? Is this all they have at the training facility? I was thinking along the lines of at least a touch screen computer set up or non motion sim. Am I expecting too much?
The 175 has a touch screen at the school house but I am on the 145 so I don't know how many or how accessible.

How about pass fail rate? Who collects this data? Is it published? Does mgmt suppress it's release. Is it released?
Also, 70 new hire in X month? But how many complete the training process from each new hire class (%)? How many flunk out? How many leave? How many get fired. How is it compared to other regionals highering similar numbers per month (i.e. SkyWest)?
How many make it past probation? What is attrition rate? Is it going up? Down? Or did your buddy Capt'a cousin-sister's boyfriend who knows the MEC personally say that? Or I know a guy who said he was leaving & a girl who said she was leaving & she knows a guy who said he was leaving?
Attrition is killing us compared to??????
Where is the data, where are the Facts?
Lots of talk on here, but no numbers.
Also, any survey's done by ALPA anymore?
Anyone anyone.....?
Thanks,

BTW Flight Safety OWNS those touch screens. Maybe thats why they are so protective of them.

How do we get numbers? Is there a list? Where can it be found?

Interesting point. But, I find that very troubling. In fact scary, that the union folks are scared to rock the boat in favor of transparency & keeping mgmt honest with the pilot group.

Yes, nice jeans and a collared shirt are acceptable at the Envoy Training Center. Even clean tennis shoes are okay. But more than likely most will be in slacks and a collared shirt on day one since it feels kinda weird showing up to something like that in jeans. Once guys figure out it's fine to be in jeans, you'll see more and more of it.
Don't wear jeans and tennis shoes to training. Everyone can afford a pair of slacks, dress shoes, and a collared shirt (no tie required.)
I realize this is the new US Airways, but dress like a professional. The suit doesn't make the man, but the least you can do is look presentable.

Jeans are tolerated however, business casual is slacks or dockers and a polo or button up shirt with no tie and dress shoes. I feel like the pilots are the only special people wearing jeans. You see a mix of things, but if you are wearing dockers and a nice shirt, you will not be overdressed and look a lot more professional
