Newsflash. Things are working and working very, very well. Ignore his flow diatribe. The flow is contractual and is absolutely not going to stop.

Go Jets better than envoy's reserve.
wow..
Reserve life at any regional blows, especially if you are a commuter, but it is manageable here. Every one that doesn't get a line is assigned long call reserve (LCR) which is a 12 hour call out. Scheduling can then change two of the LCR sits to short call reserve (SCR). Scheduling can change just 1 day or a stretch of days, but those days have to be together. So you'll basically get 2 stretches of LCR and 2 of SCR. Because I'm a commuter, I average about 15 days at home per month. So far this month I have a minimum of 13 days off on reserve with another LCR stretch coming up. We do have Airport Reserve, but because it counts as one of the 2 conversions, scheduling rarely uses it. I've only sat Airport reserve one time in the year and that was middle of the summer during holiday peak.

Before your time here.. We shared the AA training center with AA pilots on the south side of the Airport. Half of them wore the same jeans and tennis shoes as our pilots do and you couldn't tell the difference between who was working where without checking an ID badge. Imagine that..
It's hours of classroom time and a dark simulator completely out of site of the public. Nobody here cares if your pants are denim or Khaki. They care if you put forth the effort to succeed or not.

It works. The wheels are just black roller blade wheels to begin with. You will see people with different colored wheels all the time that just replaced their wheels with roller blade wheels off amazon. My original set lasted about 6 years through sand, snow and salt before the bearings started squealing, then eventually all fell out or seized up despite greasing them. So I threw in new generic wheels I got online. Then the entire bag fell apart beyond repair about 2 years later. Broken frame, destroyed/missing zippers, etc.. I am now on my second Luggage works Lightweight frame edition with less commuting and it's still in good shape. I hate the bag due to the lack of interior space with the frame and the way it's designed but its still better than the other options.. and the only bag with a durable solid handle. I have seen countless wobbly or broken Travelpro and other off brand handles causing people grief.
I think crew outfitters sells replacement wheels too.
