What would you write in that fatigue report? "I'm tired, from working."

FAA leaves how extensions are handled to be worked out between the unions and companies Envoy thing or most others do this? It's a regional thing. Mainline you just go home no questions asked.

Pretty pathetic only 75 people voted in the election for union reps. Should be collectively ashamed.

And yet there will be hundreds who complain about the state of affairs yet they don’t do anything to make their voice heard other than ***** in the “crew room.”

That's ORD, no?
Say a third of pilot group - 800 people. How many of those are on probation year with ORD being a junior base? 300ish? 75/500 is 15% turnout, nationwide typical result for local elections.

See here for example
"In most major cities, fewer than 15 percent of voters turn out to cast a ballot for mayor."

The freakin thing is online and you’re sent an email with the link to vote. There’s no excuse for not participating. None. Pure apathy and laziness.

If it’s online and sent via email that’s the easiest way possible. Unless done through the ALPA app but still.

My point was that it was a statistically normal turnout for the event. Statistically normal turnout for the TA vote is what 60%ish, same as the presidential elections?

I agree with everything said, with that being said, I did not vote. Why. Dont know the person or what he stands for. Plus currently at envoy, the union has elected to maintain status quo if not give up a little so as to keep the flow going. So with that understanding and the fact the union has literally done nothing for over 5 years, nope you dont have my vote.

I honestly would encourage you to call any of the reps, or even the MEC chairman and tell him exactly that. I think you'll have a good conversation and you'll learn a lot. PM if you need assistance getting in touch with them
