Flow will not stop because of this and also with the 10,000 retirements over the next 15 years at American, Delta, United.

So why are they right seat qualifying captains again? This just came out of no where and without any announcement by management.

wow..

Reserve life at any regional blows, especially if you are a commuter, but it is manageable here. Every one that doesn't get a line is assigned long call reserve (LCR) which is a 12 hour call out. Scheduling can then change two of the LCR sits to short call reserve (SCR). Scheduling can change just 1 day or a stretch of days, but those days have to be together. So you'll basically get 2 stretches of LCR and 2 of SCR. Because I'm a commuter, I average about 15 days at home per month. So far this month I have a minimum of 13 days off on reserve with another LCR stretch coming up. We do have Airport Reserve, but because it counts as one of the 2 conversions, scheduling rarely uses it. I've only sat Airport reserve one time in the year and that was middle of the summer during holiday peak.
Why is this written in the first person like you work at whatever company this is describing(gojet?)? It's certainly not envoy. Yet, all your other posts claim that you work at envoy. Did you forget which screen name you were posting on?

Yes and because you work at Envoy you automatically go to front of the line at LCC. They like Envoy and pick them like cherries if one applies. You will be onboard in 1 week. It's because your training is so good and you really are just AA pilots. They like the experience.

Default Question about the Cadet Program

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone know about the Cadet Program. I had sent an email to the recruitment team last Thursday to get little more information about it, as well I left a phone message today which I hope to hear back soon. How would it work for me because what the chart showed I would be in the Senior Cadet block, which I am working on saving my money up to get my CFI, which would put me into the Cadet Instructor if I was to get hired on.

I am more curious how the program would work and what would I be expected to do if I was to get an offer to be in the program.

Thanks for any feedback or comment about the Cadet Program.

Matthew

The recruiting Department is trying their best to respond as timely as they can but they are pretty swamped. Send me a PM and I will get you in touch with some people.

Didn't say that. But nice try. Many of us already put in the leg work i.e. Job fairs, etc.

We are cautiously optimistic about the flow.

The 608 bearings are about $1 each on Amazon...

So I threw in new generic wheels I got online. Then the entire bag fell apart beyond repair about 2 years later. Broken frame, destroyed/missing zippers, etc.. I am now on my second Luggage works Lightweight frame edition with less commuting and it's still in good shape. I hate the bag due to the lack of interior space with the frame and the way it's designed but its still better than the other options.. and the only bag with a durable solid handle. I have seen countless wobbly or broken Travelpro and other off brand handles causing people grief.

I think crew outfitters sells replacement wheels too.

I'd appreciate it if I could get a PM from any Envoy pilots based in and parking at ORD. I have a few questions to ask.
