I was also thinking about driving down since this new hotel on the other side of the field is way far from any food places like you said. On the other hand we're only down there for 1 week.. I'm definitely driving down once ground school starts though.

I'm the hotel starts with an A then the hotel has a diner menu with a 25% discount plus if you go east, there are a few restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

If it's our old hotel there's a gas station with a huge convince store and a good Indian place out back. Does it share it's parking lot with another hotel?
It's not just uncool to post it here it's down right dangerous to your co-workers.

Had a few questions about the training locations and schedule.
I understand the 175 sim is located in St Louis. Is this the location of the CPTs and systems training as well? If you are going to STL for sim, do you return to DFW after the CBTs first for testing, etc and then to STL? If there is a back up in training for the sims, where are they taking that break in the the training schedule? I would hate to do all the CPTs and then break for very long before getting in the sim.
Thanks

I'm looking at some other job opportunities, but I really can't afford to delay class at Envoy for something that might not pan out.
Thanks

The propaganda mentions there is a two year contract for the bonus. I'm sure there have been some who have left before then. Does anyone know the ramifications of doing so? I would assume at the very least you would not see any remaining pay. Do they pro rate the amount? What about the iPad? Is it technically company property? Would it have to be returned as well?

Ipad is company property and will have to be returned as well once you're done with the company.
For some reason, I want to say a few people in our class a few months back washed out on the 175 and didn't pay back their bonus's... Or maybe HR just hasn't caught up to them.

Last I checked there still is a 2 year contract for the bonus. For some reason in my head, I do believe after a year it MAY be pro-rated, but I don't remember off the top of my had.
