Tis a shame. Sometimes the unplanned and unexpected happens in training. We have a few guys who have taken advantage of their chance to come back and "pick up where they left off" after flowing.

I understand the 824 was of a different era and program. Hopefully there will be a flow back worked out for the next groups.

If they can't pass training then they shouldn't be able to come back. The training program at Envoy is not easy. If you are able to pass training at envoy for many years and then you all of a sudden can't pass at American then it's your own fault. Part of having a flow program is having the career progression that comes with it. If we let people come back to work right where they left off at the same seniority then that is not going to help the progression for everyone else below them.

Perhaps PDT has a flow back because many of their guys never flew anything more advanced than a Dash.

New FM-1 revision out today has brought the CA upgrade time down from 3,000TT to 2,500TT. Should help out a decent amount of FO's.

Can someone give me an idea regarding a commute from GRR to DFW? With all the ORD downsizing talk, I'm wondering if that's even doable (3 flts a day on Envoy operated 175's I think). I'd imagine ORD-DFW would be a rough commute as well since it'd be hub - hub.

Thanks.

Why not save yourself all the troubles and work for Skywest in Chicago or Endeavor out of Detroit? Both are much better places than Envoy.

Total time as in helicopter time included? Or is it all 121 time?

I wouldn't expect to see anything of the sort. The flow back came with HUGE costs to EGL in the early 2000s.

Enough Envoy pilots remember or have heard the stories. We won't agree to anything of the sort.
