1) For commuters?

2) For those living in base?

Thank you in advance!
@ the base they pay for parking, commute - they cover up to base parking cost, you pay the difference if any...

For taxes, how do we see what we paid in dues. Do we even pay dues the first year?

Nope. My understanding is we have the same protection as a normal dues paying member, but the dues are waived first year.

Oh no, you definitely do not. Your first year while on probation you are an "apprentice member" which does not have all of the same protection as a full member. Which for the average person doesn't really make much of a difference. But if something happens and you get yourself into some hot water with the company, they can fire you for whatever the want at the drop of a hat and there's not much ALPA can do. Now, once you become a full member you'll have ALPA in your corner and they can fight for you. It's imperative that you keep your nose clean the first year.

I know we are on probation for the first year with the company, but I didn't know our union coverage was limited. That's good to know. Thanks.

No. I just thought we had full protection with ALPA. I wasn't aware of the "apprentice member" status. I have zero previous union experience so I guess I was confused during their indoc presentation.

Nothing more than heavy rumors at this point. The only 20 that would be coming from another regional would be the Compass planes. Those are the only other 175s that AAG owns and can put where they want them. And those 175s aren't older gen, they are identical to the birds Envoy operates now. Supposedly if there is any truth to this rumor, there is supposed to be an announcement sometime early summer. I wouldn't put a lot of stock in it until such an announcement is made.

Thank you. Could you guys give me an idea of what base parking costs are like in various places? PM me if you don't want it public. Thanks!
