There’s an optIon to contribute pre-tax $$ into a HSA if you choose that option

Lots of companies, including other airlines that already have HSA's, contribute to the employees HSA above and beyond any 401k matching contribution. By offering some sort of flat contribution, it is usually a way to push high deductible plans which is cheaper for company. I think their question was more about if Envoy was going to be one of those companies. I'm genuinely curious as well however it is highly unlikely. I would have assumed they would have advertised any contribution in the benefits packet. But since it took so long for us to FINALLY get an HSA, Im just happy about that. But in future negotiations, it would be nice to add some sort of company contribution.

Last the company spoke about benefits they added $100 per month surcharge for a working spouse. Maybe the time before when they raised our portion of contribution from 30%-35%. I doubt they will pay a portion of your HSA.

Yep my wife's company pays $500 into the HSA and her yearly premium for the plan is $552 making her baseline medical costs $52/yearly...

Air 2. Yes. Not sure we have a B Fund, haven’t started 401k contributions yet but I need to look into it now that I’m thinking of it.

Thanks! This is my second go around with Eagle/Envoy. Seems surreal.
