DFP Conflict
I’m trying to do a P2P trade using QuickTrade. I am getting a message about an DFP conflict. I recall someone telling me that sometimes you have to remove the DFP from your schedule before a trade will go through.
Anyone able to shed some light in this?
Thanks!!

It’s probably a conflict with the person you’re trying to trade with.

Is it for next month?? If not, it's probably the other guy who has a conflict.

DFP = duty free period, or day off. I’m guessing you are trying to trade for a trip that is outside the footprint of your current trip. I have never used Quicktrade, but with the TT in DECS, sometimes the HTMD command doesn’t work correctly, and you have to manually delete a DFP (day off placeholder) in order for the trip trade to work correctly. In DECS > HT > enter the info for the two trips, and follow the instructions to delete a DFP manually, HZ, and it should work.

I use quicktrade and have seen the DFP thing come up on rejection a time or two and had no clue what it was talking about... some other rejection acronyms as well I don't know. Your DECS instructions are 'greek' to me though. I just logged into DECS and typed 'HT' then enter and got "-A- TRIP TRADE NOT AUTHORIZED".

not at envoy, but our company references DECS often in memos, no idea what it even is. I'm supposed to send an ACARS when I get it but only when I am in DCA and at the world.
