Currently, how senior is DFW for?...
- 175 FO's
- 145 FO's
- 175 CA's
- 145 CA's
I fully understand that things are vibrant (with some changes more predictable than others), but in 18-24 months is DFW expected to be more junior, more senior or similar to the present for each category above?
E175's & E145's are the only ***** equipment based at DFW currently, right? Is there any projected gain or loss of equipment in the next 2-4 years for ***** at DFW? (I'm understand that this is a long ways out, but I can't help but be curious about what's currently expected.)

This is very true, I have had the CPO actually advise me against what our contract states in regards to the commuter clause, lol. That was eye opening and was my first realization that the CPO is most certainly on the management side, not ours. Understand, I am not bashing them nor do I always think this is wrong, its just that I thought the CPO was firmly a pilot advocacy group for us and that isn't the case. Newbie mistake sure, but hopefully other new guys/gals will read this and learn.
Yep happened to me as well. Called fatigue, asked for authorization to commute home. “No. Sorry, I cant do that. But you can fly on United!”

I'm 18-ish months from having ATP minimums (I have no previous Part 121 experience), but I'm beginning to put a plan together (subject to change as things play out, of course) and Envoy is currently my primary target (my wife & I live in DFW) such that I'll likely seek to join the Cadet Program as early as possible, so thanks to anyone who is good enough to share what they know.

Have a month off at home because of a training back log. All of the above keeps rolling.
Most people take a pay hit once they hit reserve on the line .
