Which one, the merger?
As a Piedmont employee, we hear about this. A majority of us donate money towards a separate fund in the event of a merger for the legal fees associated with a merger.
That being said, I don't think it's likely. AA has too much to lose by merging us. They literally have all of the convenience of being able to whipsaw us with all of the economics of having non-fee for departure regional service.

I hate to say this also, but both Envoy and PSA both have a brighter future than PDT. Despite getting these clapped out 145's, in about 5 years time we are going to seriously need to reevaluate what the future holds for our company in terms of equipment. We may very well be the next "PSA" in terms of accepting a contract for the sake of surviving despite hurting our compatriots at the other WO's. We are the next weak link in this whipsaw scenario.
That is, unless we merge of course.
