Don't cancel your PNR. Just have the agent move it over.
All you have to do is go to the gate for the first flight, tell the agent you're listed on the second flight, and they will simply pull the PNR over to the first flight. Takes them about 30 seconds. I do it all the time. It's normal stuff.

Yes, I know...
Anybody else hear any rumors? I seriously doubt it, but a friend SWEARS there is a disturbance in the Force indicating a 145 base.
I thought at first he was talking about the Compas 175s but he says 145s. Anybody even know what there is out there and who is doing it besides the Compas 175s? Skywest, maybe?

Whoa, how'd you pull that trick? I noticed an earlier flight home was delayed to the point I could make it so I went and checked it out. Delayed to change a tire. Said I couldn't get on because the flight was already closed. Then, while I was still there, they decided to deplane to let the passengers stretch their legs while they wait. I asked again about getting on "no, the flight is closed". This was an Envoy flight.

By the way wasn’t there a guy here who predicted MIA opening sept and he also said 2 more bases this year.

Because if anyone has the inside scoop on confidential NDA info, it's the FAs...The amount of completely ridiculous FA rumors that have gotten started over the years is laughable.

Anyway, if I remember correctly, the other too bases he predicted were to be PHL and PHX, and it wasn't that it WILL happen, just that AAG was looking at it. That's what I took from it anyway. PHL didn't make any sense at the time but it's the first thing I thought about when I heard Peidmont merger rumors from two different people this past week. In any case, neither seem related to the LAX rumors.

With the new tax cuts the company has a little extra cash to expand....maybe establish a base like LAX, get it running smoothly, and wait for the 175s to show up. Staff it with 145s now. Not a bad plan. Make it a smaller base like MIA is, we should have enough west coast guys on property that would be happy to bid back to LAX.

Aag hasn’t and will not need to pay cash taxes for some time from what I heard. Also sending 145s out somewhere to hold down the fort until 175s can get out there isn’t how it’s ever been done as far as I can remember.
