My friend. welcome to envoy. I see that the smell of the new car has worn away. When they sign you up, was the salesman selling you 5 years flow and upgrade in 1 year or less?
I am sorry for your condition there at envoy. It is bad the way that the pilots are treated there. I know, I spend many years at american eagle before envoy. It is true that envoy treats pilots worse the old american eagle.

Update: called CS again and was on hold for a while. When they answered I talked to the same person. They just said "it's been changed, you're confirmed RAP2." And that was it, no explanation. I said thank you and have a good evening. Wasn't trying to rock the boat or complain. I was just confused as to why I got what I got. Anyhow, got an extra night in my own bed instead of commuting!

So according to Section 11(T) I can fail to make any two attempts to commute in and the missed assignment be waived under the commuting policy.
Any backlash on choosing specifically full flights and checking in last minute to ensure you are the last one on the standby list? Or given that my commute is a two legged, booking them separately as to not become a D2T and move up the list?

It's more of a hypothetical, rather than my actual plan. It's pretty much the only good part of our contract I can find. I'm personally too scared to use it for the off chance I can't actually get to work. I wouldn't want it abused. Just sick of getting the short end of the sandpapered paint can sized ****.
