You all need to relax, theres plenty of people here who fly outside of envoy on their days off, not a big deal as long as you watch your hours. Theres plenty here that cfi or are DPE's on the side.
FM1 also says you can do it with permission from your cpo...

That’s a big no no. You can see why when you start thinking about our maximum flight hours per week, month and year. If he is doing that outside of Envoy he is taking from the pool of hours Envoy gets. Not to mention doing anything that may violate him and render unable to fly for Envoy.
People need to read what they sign.

1.) He may have permission from his CPO. Stop assuming everyone is a babbling idiot.
2.) You can still get violated flying for leisure in your pop pop’s clapped out 152. Nothing says you can’t fly outside of Envoy not for hire.

It only counts if you log the time. If people are flying on the side it’s for the money so they can not live at poverty

Anyone here who has ordered the new uniform have advice on the pants hemming from MH? I've always just worn pants as they are in my simplistic life. Their "size chart" offers no help. Additionally what lengths have y'all found to work for pants and jackets? For reference I am 6ft3in 215 lbs.

Be advised that if you order the pants with a specified inseam to be hemmed by MH they will not allow you to exchange them if the waist size is wrong, and their waste sizing runs much smaller than the Twinhill pants. They do not have stretch-side waist bands like Twinhill’s does.
Also, IMHO the Men’s Warehouse does subpar tailoring. I’ve had three consecutive bad experiences with them, but continued using them bc they were essentially free. The first time, the inseam was nowhere near the correct length agreed upon during fitting, and had to be re-hemmed. The 2nd time they literally lost my pants for two weeks without an explanation of why or how, but miraculously appeared a week later. The 3rd time, they sewed my 4th captain stripe onto my blazer without ironing the stripe, leaving a very noticeable wrinkled ****-poor appearance. Their response was that it looked just fine to them, which is why I will never do business with them again. I was thankful that my new MH captain blazer arrived shortly thereafter. Recently I received the new MH pants and took them to The Dapper Club in Chicago for tailoring both the inseam and the leg width (the legs are very baggy) and they had them done perfectly within 3 days for a reasonable fee.
