You do realize this is an attempt by Mesa to get some of our pilots to jump ship. This is nothing but a small out station basing attempt by Mesa to gain pilots. Remember they are extremely short staffed.
By all means please leave for the likes of Mesa.

Yea and once they have poached all the pilots they can, then ATL closes. Then you're still commuting for Mesa. Good luck with that

Don’t get me wrong. I have no intent to make a sideways move for a place like Mesa. But it shows how bad things are here that people would consider it, or that a place like Mesa has more good news than we do.
But hey, good things are coming. Our partners are noticing. We have a seat at the table. Yada Yada Yada.

19 1/2 yeas at LASA, IM OUT! I have enjoyed every one I have work with over the years. As I don't believe Xjt will survive, from what I have heard it doesn't look good. Attrition Was a lot more than management anticipated. And if management wanted to attract pilots they would have put something together. Good luck to Everyone get out while you can. To the majors I go

Im sure it would be a minority stake, but money solves everything..If United wanted the whole company, money will take care of that with the FA union. Im sure thats probably not the most difficult thing UAL has to worry about. Stuff like this happens all the time in the corporate world, lawyers and money always take care of obstacles in contracts to complete acquisitions. I even mentioned that to my dad who was a top exec at a Fortune 50 company in Manhatten, he has been through many acquisitions in the board rooms and he said any "hurdles" he calls it that effect their end game will be taken down by either money or lawyer teams maneuvering around the loopholes which is in every contract. One word can change a contract. So, even he said "money talks" if United wants Xjt So, if anyone thinks UAL can't or won't buy a regional because of a FA contract is sadly mistaken. just sayin...

Either they have zero idea what to do, or the plan is unfolding precisely as planned. Make your bets..
