But it's nice to see such unrealistic positivity. Keep up the good work. Maybe you should ask for an extra turkey coupon or try for a management position. They too are good at pointing out the nonexistent positives.

XJT is toast because management is standing around in a circle jerking their dongs. Not because UA doesn't need the lift. Right now a 10 year FO can go to another regional and make more at first year pay with a quick upgrade. The fact that we even have 10 year FO's is RIDICULOUS. (just spoke with one today) Status quo ain't going to cut it. XJT is toast if they don't change the trajectory, and fast.

The most junior pilot awarded CA on the CRJ side is a 12/2007 hire. And a nice chunk of people on that side from 2007 to 2011 where ERJ has the most junior CA. This integration is going to create an indefinite upgrade situation. So, coming down...no. On paper they can still say 3/2011 is the most junior CA, but in fact the position will now fill in reverse from that date.

I think you have to check your compass calibration. The only direction it's moving is straight into the ground. Until they do something to attract new hires and actually compete in terms of compensation, the current trajectory is not sustainable. Losing 50+ a month and hiring zero is not the right direction. They already turned away block hours for next month on the ERJ side. It will move in the right direction once this place starts ponying up the dough.

Sure, there’s guys (and girls) that “came up short”. But see above, there’s also a lot that were denied because of HR’s screwed up way of running the program.
