Default No hope

Does anybody have a clue/idea, if a 52 year Airbus Captain, with over 15000 hours, over 12000 PIC, over 7000 A320 PIC, but with a AAS degree, and not a BA, has a shot at UAL?
Anybody?, any tips?, help please?, need to come home, had enough of the Sandbox

You need a BS/BA degree other than that you are competitive

Without something extraordinary on the resume to make up for the lack of a 4 year degree, UAL would be a long shot. I would try American. I have seen high flight time & no 4 year degree pilots getting offers there more so than United.

Most of American pilots these days are from their wholly owned regionals or the military. It is only 1% of hiring outside of these group.

Many universities offer aviation degrees and give you colleg credit for your ratings and life experience.

+1 on American. I personally know 2 high time Xjet captains who went OTS to AA, one with a 2 year degree and one with no degree. I think both of them were within driving distance of CLT, don't know if that helped.

The program was just expanded to include UND.
