I thought it went to PDT but I may have been wrong.

My friend, the bitter, disgruntled and entitled are exactly what United is looking for. According to the people they have already let over there. UAL has hired some truly dangerous individuals. I bid you adieu sir and without sarcasm, the best of luck.

I wonder why we're not in talks for a new contract. People just getting distracted by United buying XJT rumors, instead of focusing on what's important. Or better say; somehow important, because number one priority is to bail out of here.

It's amazing how easily people are getting distracted. I see discussions about wifi on the planes, fancy new paint jobs, a new sim, the new coffee in the crew room, a burning sensation when I urinate. This place should literally be burning to the ground with all the other regional contracts getting voted in as we sit here twiddling our thumbs.

Not really. Some of worst/most avoided and difficult to get along with CA’s have made it over.

Also, a lot the younger FO’s I remeber flying with that were the epitome of entitled have been accepted.

Because for some reason, AFTER the extension was announced UCH suddenly became concerned about XJT’s “pilot costs”.

Per GW bonuses to be paid out in September now! Their hopping to get through the summer with this carrot. If they were really serious they would hand it out now with the stipulation you had to stay till September or pay it back. dimwits!

Yeah, funny. They said in the conference call a few weeks ago that attrition was about what they expected. But now all the CRJ bid windows are 90-120 hours in March (kicking myself for not bidding vacation in March/April), $20k bonuses for CRJ pilots to stay until September, CRJ pilots are now pay protected when they move over to the ERJ (pay under the ERJ contract, but paid as captains if they could hold it), and UAL pass benefits for retirement if we fly the UAX side for a year. But all is well. All is well. A day late and a dollar short, but perhaps UAL is realizing all their regional pilots are going to AAG and DAL feeders?

GW also said our contract is basically equivalent to Endeavor's and didn't sound too hopeful on sending more money our way. After all, our amazing soft time rules make us so expensive. We have our 2 hour DPM and 15 hour 4 day rigs on the ERJ side, which are clearly industry leading.

After Delta ends, then AA ending shortly after in 2019 we will all be on the ERJ contract. They should be negotiating with ERJ side to put the next one in place. Trying to get a JCBA now is just throwing time and money away.

Yeah I never thought about that. you got it right. Let's wait until 2019 even better let's wait until 2020 or 21 and then, we "may" start talking about new contract. By then the 5 year extention UNITED contract will have 2 o 1 year left.
