I’m sure the CRJ side is insisting on determining as much of the next contract as possible. Why would things be any different than they ever have been?

Most of those people are gone. At least the old MEC chairman. The new MEC chairman is very fair, well respected and a straight shooter.

Yet XJT is toast? I think not.
Did you guys get that new sim yet?

A gate agent in Denver told me that her 3rd cousin's mailman's wife works at a soup kitchen in Colorado Springs, and that UAL is going to be offering a CPP to their patrons next week. The papers are signed, they're just waiting to put out the press release...

Heck, they're hiring CFIs with no turbine, so it's plausible...

Calling on math intellects. XJT’s Seniority has been thru CPP- 1300 or so pilots; 300 or so in pool. United hiring 300 and sum this year. If you make it thru a CPP at your Perspective regional or wherever. How long will it take for one to make it thru to UNITED? Between XJT, Commutair, Mesa, Air Whiskey there are thousands of pilots. Unless United picks up hiring, the CPP is a pathetic looking carrot at best, compared to flow guarantee.

So, that translates to 20 total new hires after they revise it 14 times.
