I agree. I shouldn’t have gone on the attack.
I don’t know why the big 6 have a problem with regional lifers. It sucks that they do. But waiting it out is obviously not a strategy that is going to work. My point in all this was that it’s not going to change. I wish the senior guys would accept that. That is most certainly not XJT’s fault.
So it really leaves 2 options. Put your head down and go to work and please stop with all the toxic attitude, or re start your career at an LCC.
If in 5 years I’m not at the big 6 that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I don’t feel like I just deserve the CPP. It’s a carrot on a stick. Anyone sticking around waiting on it is kidding themselves. It’s a recruitment tool, yet most of the recruits see right through it while it’s the lifers being strung along with that joke of a program. I don’t wish they would re-vamp it, I wish they would kill it all together.

LOL at everyone complaining about the CPP. Lots of pilots have benefitted from it successfully.
To the people who complain about about getting screwed over, maybe time would be more productively spent by wondering why you don't have hope to get hired off the street. If a flow program was your only shot, why didn't / couldn't you get hired at a flow airline?
Reassignments for lone holders is a legitimate complaint and makes them feel like they're on reserve.
Complaints about the CPP go nowhere. There isn't anyone at Expressjet who is responsible for the program or who can do anything about your complaints. They can, however, complete negotiations they promised to complete.
