Why not do the 145 and get a type rating, and if we go to all 175's, you can get an additional type rating?

You’re gonna kick yourself in the ass one day for not bidding the 145 if you get the 175. I’m sure the guys that bid the 145 in your class will upgrade to Captain first way before the guys flying the 175 can upgrade.

I know a few folks who went to JetBlue with a Embraer 170/190 type rating and never upgraded to CA.

Most of my trips on the E175 so far have been 4 day trips with only 2-3 legs unlike 4-6 leg days on the E145 and these trips have been worth around 20-25 hours of credit.

As we get more 175’s the trips will only get better. I think there are legs to the rumor of us opening a Dulles base and starting East Coast / West Coast routes on the 175 after reading the email sent out by Scott Hall this week.

No regional jets are cool.

Fly the one that gets you to a major airline the fastest. IE, multi engine turbine PIC time.
