You do know that the pilots voted in a concession pay cut in 08 and never got it back. That '04 contract was changed with lower rates in '08 because the XJT pilots did vote in a pay cut.

I just passed the 1 year mark and will absolutely be voting no on concessions.

Technically it was an off-airport landing :p

But as long as no one dies, legacies accept an occasional hull loss as part of the cost of economical feed.

Pretty sure it was just a standard business decision and not deaths that caused Colgan to go away.

To be pedantic, they landed at the airport. They just didn't land on the runway...

The airport environment if you will.

I haven’t kept up, there been a final report on that?

If the pilots don't get to share in the profits, then why should they share in the losses?

We are employees, not investors.

No. I will tell you that the ILS and the airport itself played a major role in this accident.

John, do you want to explain to the pilots left at XJT where the cabin trainer and FTD #1 came from? ;) Something about glass houses.

Did the ILS lead them to terrain that was higher than the MSL DA?

Because they’d rather pay you the least amount possible as they know you’re replaceable.

The fact that they hire pilots like Cabo Killer and ones that have been forced to resign from XJT for other "issues" might have played a role in it too.
