BUT, things have changed and unfortunately I think the vast majority of the legacy group that voted no in the past has moved on. This leaves a bunch of non legacy XJT lifers and new hires that may tilt the ship, unfortunately, in the wrong direction. Good luck to all! You do know that the pilots voted in a concession pay cut in 08 and never got it back. That '04 contract was changed with lower rates in '08 because the XJT pilots did vote in a pay cut. |
I just passed the 1 year mark and will absolutely be voting no on concessions.

Technically it was an off-airport landing :p
But as long as no one dies, legacies accept an occasional hull loss as part of the cost of economical feed.

To be pedantic, they landed at the airport. They just didn't land on the runway...
I haven’t kept up, there been a final report on that?

If the pilots don't get to share in the profits, then why should they share in the losses?
We are employees, not investors. |

John, do you want to explain to the pilots left at XJT where the cabin trainer and FTD #1 came from? ;) Something about glass houses. |

No. I will tell you that the ILS and the airport itself played a major role in this accident.
