Vote NO

Exactly. They need to put this place out of its misery. People got way to comfortable here never moving on, leading to the problem we’ll be having now in survival mode.

No. I will tell you that the ILS and the airport itself played a major role in this accident.

Interesting.

John, do you want to explain to the pilots left at XJT where the cabin trainer and FTD #1 came from? ;) Something about glass houses.

Also interesting.

Was more curious about the human (and technical as you seem to vaguely allude to) factors of the how/what/why.

And shouldn't you be no longer left at C5?

I think one needs to keep in mind context. Some have endured serious hardship in the last decades. It's all about context. The system is broken, not the people.

get real

Judgment played the biggest role. And yes, MA had some poor judgment as well.

I postponed it for personal reasons. Right now, I am extremely glad that I did.

We tried to move on, but were told by mainline that we weren’t worthy. Don’t blame us.

And we are better for having you. Thanks for all you do for us. Recurrent with you driving was enlightening to say the least.

[QUOTE=piloto2;3097484]You're forgetting that Skywest already operates over half of all the 50 seat regional flying that UAL contracts. They are getting more of those 50 seaters back as the come off of Delta service. They (Skywest) already operate over 180 CRJs for UAL.[/QUOTE

The crj has a shorter lifespan than the 145s and a shortage of parts.

Oo could have had the 145 on their certificate but didn't want to merge with xjt.

There were no passengers on board and the pilot was yet to be qualified in the aircraft. Huge difference.
