maybe this is more safe to post. Not verified, but it’s something that seems kind of reputable

sk: we’re going to be conservative and grow slowly
also sk: we want to be in position to take advantage of available market share from our competitors reductions and snap back to 100% as quick as possible
he doesn’t know anymore about the future of the airline than the rest of us. I feel better now.

United is taking a similar wait-and-see approach on aircraft and has not made plans to permanently ground any fleet type, Kirby said. Still, he said the cramped CRJ-200s and Embraer E145s, which fly as United Express, likely won’t stick around long.
“My guess the 50 seaters mostly will be gone, by the end of this,” he said.
This comment sounds like the decision might already be made if a quick recovery doesn't happen really, really soon.......

United should furlough every mainline pilot, park all mainline planes, buy all the E-145s they can for Expressjet, and just service United mainline routes with E-145s and Expressjet pilots. they would save billions.
Not going to happen, but am I wrong.

my name isn't Alex, its simple monetary policy... many experts would tell you the same thing. It is not hard to take time to study history and history of fiat currencies. Not one fiat currency ever has survived throughout history. The Us Dollar is not immune. Anyone with a brain will know that pumping trillions of dollars per day into markets while countries dump the dollar will lead to massive inflation. Thats basic common sense, atleast i thought. Im trying to warn you guys and just say get some gold, food etc because this is not just a normal recession that you will see. It's all im saying... its not gonna be good.

yes. You’re wrong. American and Delta would get all the business, because people hate your airplanes.

I just don’t think United would pull those now 4 175’s back over to ExpressJet that are already at SkyWest. SkyWest has the pilots and will always have the pilots to staff. After Mesa announced the purchase of 20 175’s I think that pretty much sealed it for us when it came to those. I’m sure it even surprised United. SkyWest pulled their You Owe Us” card and got our 25 175’s because they were supposed to get the next dual cabin 70 seaters. I’ve heard SkyWest and Mesa are already interviewing for classes in May/June...probably take it with a grain of salt of course. But things just aren’t looking too good for us.
