Hey all, just want to clarify the above comments...since I am a new hire and have had my training put on hold. Should I consider alternate options? I want to wait on XJT, however I also know that things are so fluid at the moment that I am not promised anything.

I would say this is true for any pilot anywhere. A lot of us wont be flying anytime soon, hope you can find alternates but even those still flying need to consider alternates.

Thanks for that. I am searching alternates but looks like everywhere is taking a hit. I was laid off my previous job too so it will be an interesting year ahead. All the best to you, I hope you are able to keep your position as well as have a back up.

Yes they will...
The question is will it be a slow burn or a California wildfire?

Sadly, the virus will seem like a picnic on the beach compared to what is around the corner. The fiat currency/petrodollar could possibly crash from this destroying the standard of living for majority of americans. The fiat currency system was so corrupted for so long and our founders warned us about this.... you are sadly watching the end of america. We were warned about this for sooo long and nobody listened, but here we are... this is not a blue or red thing either. Hug your family, get your guns and if you have extra cash laying around buy some Gold and Silver. Every time fiat currencies failed throughout history, Gold won every time... stock up on Gold, Guns, and Silver and food..... The so-called conspiracy theorists don't seem like nutjobs anymore LOL

Yes sir right away sir

You should be a clairvoyant. Everyone is being effected greatly. SkyWest already furloughed 110 students from their training center. Even though they don’t call it a furlough.

You’re an unhappy narcissistic troll.

And those GoJet 550’s are just burning up the sky.
If Scott Kirby parks the 50 seat fleet. G7 is done, and SW will have to displace a bunch of CRJ2 pilots.
