Your dam right it is, (second point I agree to)but not till this CPA is up or CAL buys it out. I'm sorry but you just cant cancel contracts without due diligence by the party which seeks to end the agreement.

I'll gladly take my spot flying at a legacy when and if this company goes down but till then seeing as I'm gonna be here for a while, I'm gonna strive to continue the fight for what we all as professional pilots deserve. EVERY DOLLAR WE CAN GET, and when we we do secure an industry leading contract for you again! Well, I would just rather you say thanks and enjoy the fruits of mine and everyone's lobar that puts up the good fight. You people are the reason were considered second class pilots and mocked by our peers. If you want to insure the company survives and i'm sure you do that sticker that says 'I Will Fly For Food" is right up your alley.
okay...this comment...."they need us more than we need them..."...from a regional pilot... are you kidding me....with out your mainline contracts YOU ARE NOTHING!!!

Yelling at him/her is useless, they'll just brush the comment off and continue in an ignorant bliss.

The fifty state thing still makes me giggle - no variation of the -200 could make the mainland to island leg....sadly even Cold Bay isn't an option...the winds are usually more favorable coming back so maybe freight the planes over and come back when the weather cooperates? The -700 and -900 can make it but seriously, who wants to spend 5-6 hours in CRJ seats??

We do need to merge with the Skywest side fast though if we want to make it to 500 planes before the 2-1 swaps!! I can't wait to see what mgt comes up with next to boost morale!!

Just going by the most recent JNC update (06/22/2012) with about HALF the TA STILL in negotiation, I'd say that having it by the end of the week (when you posted it) is slightly off.

I may be completely off here, but I think (as retarded as the 50 state thing is) when thinking about Hawaii they probably meant operate like a Mesa and do flights around the islands.

Can't say much for the other regionals, but it appears that this Delta TA will benefit the new Expressjet, more than any other regional, for the better. Things are definitely looking good as time goes forward.
At least you are looking at it positively. I don't think it will be all bad but I think the regionals are going to change drastically over the next 5-7 years. Will be a fun ride!
