You won't get DAL travel until the contract is signed unfortunately.

Because you were uninformed about SkyWest and speculating about something of which you haveno personal knowledge. And history will prove you wrong.
Does Skywest not have dual qual? If not, then I am uninformed. But to think that whatever worse thing Skywest has, our company would want for us also (lower matching, no B fund, lower sick and vacation accrual, worse health benefits with higher premiums, BHO, etc) is just so out of the question of our management to try to negotiate for, then I have a beachfront property to sell you in Dodge, Kansas.

Like I said already, if he shows me proof and then history proves me wrong, I'll humbly apologize to him.

Unless you currently live in and are based in Atlanta. Any new base will certainly come with significant ATL reductions.

Butt out Sabbs, this doesn't concern you. Run along and go play with the kids on the bendover thread, the adults are having a conversation here.

Here we go again with more of your asinine circular logic, meant to obfuscate the fact that you were wrong.

In the post we have been referring to ad-nauseum, you said "if" SKW has "dual qual" (technically common qual, but you know what I mean). SKW does in fact have "dual qual". So either you mistyped, or didn't know that.

And management has in fact asked us to match SkyWest Airlines compensation package. This has been widely disseminated, and is not confidential info. Remember, SKW, Inc uses the pie strategy in negotiations by giving the union the bottom line price, then telling the union to cut the pie however they want to. And right now, it looks like a lot of things in the current XJT contract are being cut, not that I necessarily agree with that, but if you want to keep them, we're going to have to increase the size of the pie. I'm not sure we have the unity to pull that off, and I've yet to hear or see a credible unity drive out on the line.

I don't see the disagreement then. I thought Skywest has "dual qual" and according to you they do. So I wasn't misinformed about that. Second, our management wanting us to have the worst parts of the Skywest rules isn't out of the real of possibility. So my presumption (even if it turns out to be wrong and I said I would humbly apologize for it) doesn't seem out of line at all. If the bozo can prove his claim, fine. If he can't, then he can't. No skin off anyone's back. Geez you guys are sensitive about stuff that doesn't really matter. So if they don't want dual qual, whoopdeedoo! Another throw away comment proved wrong.

I never thought I would ever say this, for reasons that would get me banned from this....but you are absolutely correct.
