What's the Latest at ASA/Expressjet?

I wouldn't put my money on MSP and LGA yet. I haven't been to MSP for a while now, and knowing the 717s are coming, it's reasonable to assume they'll replace most of the 700/900 flying there just like ATL. Our long MSP routes all used to be 319s and DC9s. RJs are going to own the east coast, but NYC would be an expensive base for this company. The XJT MCI thing is an experiment. If it goes well, I'd look for an outstation base where lots of planes connect or overnight.
My money is on RDU and BOS. ATL keeps shrinking and DTW stays the same or shrinks slightly. 200s keep leaving and IAD closes next year. DFW may or may not grow, depending on what happens with AA/US. ATL will be our smallest base in 2 years. Think 15 year CAs on reserve.

If we end up with a contract that allows CRJ pilots to fly all 3 variants, which we probably will, it will significantly change the ATL CA situation. 15 year CA's in ATL just won't fly the 700/900 much.
