If I could lead a charge to change regional or eliminate the substandard treatment for the exact same job (and much safer by the numbers), I would say, "quit now, me hearties, and apply nowhere for 6 months. With that kind of absence the majors would poor money and create flows for all. But that's a tall task to assign.

Last numbers I remember were something like 55 CA's and 50 FO's. No idea if there will be increased flying as a result.

We were told 40 departures/day in May and then 50 departures/day starting in June. They also said there would be 2 bids. Still waiting for the next position notice but we're expecting about 10-15 more crews for LGA

The deck chairs are just being shuffled so there is no growth here. Most guys are coming from DTW and some from ATL. DTW is open for now but being shrunk to about half its size with GoJet and Skywest taking DTW over.

Another problem is as ATL shrinks drastically they will be fat on crew members who mostly live in ATL but have to find a way to commute to DFW, DTW, and LGA. It's a drag for pilots but merely impossible for in-flight crew members who don't have jumpseat agreements with other airlines like the pilots do. I would expect to see management to start firing Atlanta residing FAs for arbitrary reasons in large numbers.

DFW is currently 80ish crews and holding as long as we keep the planes there.
